Cassis: Cassis is a lovely fishing village, 20 km east of Marseille,
protected by the white cliffs of the calanque of Port-Miou
from the strong local wind known as mistral. Has a stone beach.
(parking is difficult, go there early)

Vineyards and Wineries
The villages of the Luberon, including Lourmarin, are surrounded by vines
Château Constantin-Chevalier, along with Val Joanis, in Pertuis
and Chateau de la Verrerie, located in nearby Puget,
are considered among the very best of the Côtes du Luberon wines.
Labels to seek out include Château de l'Isolette, Château des Tourettes,
Château la Canorgue, Chateau la Verrerie, Château Val Joannis,
Domaine de la Bastide de Rhodares, Domaine de la Citadelle,
Domaine de la Royere, Domaine Faverot and Bastide du Claux.
